Welcome to the Oriental Medicine Practice of Newton Lee, Doctor of Oriental Medicine and Licensed Acupuncturist. Located in Ashburn Virginia in Loudoun county.
Oriental medicine is a 3000 year old system of medicine used worldwide both as a primary and complementary form of medical treatment. The list of conditions that acupuncture may help is virtually limitless (see conditions treated list). The most common conditions are gastrointestinal disorders, gynecological disorders, respiratory disorders, emotional/psychological disorders, disorders of the nervous system, headaches, and pain anywhere in the body.
The healing effects of acupuncture come in large part from the way that the body and mind are viewed and treated in Oriental medicine. Each treatment is uniquely designed to address imbalance as it is specifically experienced by each individual in order to explore the underlying cause of illness. Treating you as an individual with a unique set of signs and symptoms, rather than a person with a specific condition, is the advantage that Oriental medicine offers.

If you had asked me about acupuncture at the beginning of the year I would have been very skeptical. I would probably have said "Well, while I don't know anything about acupuncture, how can putting needles into your body help it to get better, it does not make sense." Well I am a believer now!Dawn J.Vienna, VA
